The Shanghai Blockchain Technology Association was established in 2018. The association is a three-star municipal professional association under the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology and a 4A-level community organization under Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau. At present, the association has over 320 member units and 150 think tanks. Since its establishment, the association has closely focused on the positioning of building Shanghai into a global technology innovation center. The association has always adhered to the development of six directions: talent cultivation, technology promotion, standard setting, scientific and technological evaluation, industrial agglomeration, industry expansion, and has formed a healthy and good situation.

     The association vigorously promotes the deep integration of blockchain and the economy and society, and is committed to uniting and mobilizing the majority of scientific and technological workers to actively promote the development and industrial application of blockchain technology.

① Established the National Blockchain Social Organization Joint Conference;

② Initiated the establishment of the Shanghai Delta Blockchain Industry Promotion Center;

③ Created the "Science and Technology Innovation Forum of China" digital economy and technology forum, "Yangtze River Delta Blockchain Application Innovation Competition", "Technology Innovation Summit", and other brand activities;

④ Successfully issued 4 group standards and converted 2 local standards;

⑤ Organized national experts and blockchain companies to compile the "National Selected Cases of Blockchain Technology Applications" album;

⑥ Established a digital management platform for blockchain Plus social organizations, realizing digitization, distributed, grid management and transformation functions of social organizations;

⑦Obtained the qualification of being the first nationwide third-party technology evaluation organization for blockchain.

⑧Got qualification by the Shanghai Enterprise Vocational Skills Level Accreditation Agency.

Wang Yi, female, current member of the China Association for Science and Technology, member of the Shanghai Political Consultative Conference, president of Shanghai Blockchain Technology Association, leader of Science and Technology Innovation Service Team for China's Digital Economy, and chairman of the Shanghai Yangtze River Delta Blockchain Industry Promotion Center. In 2018, under the leadership of the Shanghai Science and Technology Association, Wang Yi initiated the establishment of the Shanghai Blockchain Technology Association. Over the years, she has been committed to spreading blockchain technology, empowering traditional enterprises, leading "blockchain plus social consensus", and contributing to Web3 next-generation internet and digital economy.
